How it works

Four steps, no technical setup.

Most families are set up in one evening. Here's everything Braid asks of you.

From scattered calendars to one.

  1. Bring your calendars in

Paste a calendar's link (Google, Outlook, iCloud, school and team sites all offer one). Braid checks the link and names the calendar for you. Or email a calendar file to calendar@braid.day and approve it in the app.

  2. Braid keeps them in sync

Linked calendars are checked every 15 minutes. Repeating events, time zones and all-day events come through correctly. The Calendars tab shows each calendar's sync health, and you can sync any calendar right away.

  3. Share the right view with each person

Create a share link for each audience and pick Busy only, titles, or full details. It works in any calendar app that can subscribe to a link.

  4. Pair the wall display

On an Android tablet, choose "Use as a wall display". It shows a short code. Enter it on your phone and the tablet joins your family.

Got a calendar by email? Forward it.

Schools and teams often email a calendar file. Forward it to calendar@braid.day from your account's email address.

Braid replies to confirm, and the calendar waits in the app for you to approve. Nothing lands on your calendar until you say so.
